Love in the Details: A Wedding “Shindig” Filled with Favorites
One of the things I most enjoy is getting to know a couple as we figure out and design the details of their Wedding Day. Gennine Kelly and Rich Uliasz met while working “in ” and theirs is a story that was meant to be. Focused on sharing a “splendid shindig” with their family and friends (we said just that on the invite), as this wedding developed, their favorite things became the theme and we tied it altogether with a summer rainbow bow- literally. Check out the details of their love filled big day!
For the table names and escort cards, we decided to bring in Rich’s love for music. Gennine and Rich have very eclectic taste in music, so they took some time together to narrow down their top 20 album pics (it was apparently a very High Fidelity discussion), and we came up with a square format for the table names and escort cards… the guests LOVED it!
Rich requested a wedding banner to use in a photo for their thank you card. This is not the final card shot but its a bit of a spoiler if you are going to be getting one… To Gennine and Rich’s family and friends, if want to be surprised, don’t look at this next photo! 🙂
So, even though a severe hurricane warning came into effect just days before, the wedding ceremony (which was held in a garden, outdoors) went off without a hitch and instead of rain…
…and a “splendid shindig” did follow! Congratulations to Gennine and Rich! It was such a pleasure working with you on your big day. Much happiness as husband and wife! All good things! Xo Dani
