Wishes for Cecelia Rose

If there was ever a time to stop and be grateful for every precious moment we have, it’s now. I loved creating the favors and other little details for Cece’s Christening day, but I also thought it would be fun to create an keepsake memento for her this early on in her years… something she could have to look back at and literally feel the love from when she was a baby!

I’ve done many wishbowl guest books over the years and as much as I love them, this concept has fizzled a bit but at the same time I was doing my Cece party planning, one of my clients requested a special wish bowl that included a wish card, for a shower she was throwing. We looked at a few options on Pinterest (I am obsessed!) and “Wishes for Cecelia” was born!

I brought the cards to the Christening in this little box, with a bunch of LePens (one of my favorite pens to wite with).

What I love about this refresh of this wishbowl is that the card we designed asks specific questions and gives a short line for answer.

At the Christening reception, I made a quick speech and handed out the cards. The room quickly became quiet as everyone filled in their wish cards.

I love that this is a little keepsake (literally) that can easily be displayed or stored, then taken out and enjoyed for years to come.

We love you, Cecelia Rose! This is just the beginning of many fun projects and adventures together!

Hold close your wishes, and maybe this little project will inspire you to write them down.  Xo Dani
