2012Sweet Collaborations
As we dive head first into the Holiday season, I’m really excited to be collaborating with some of my favorite artists, bakers and people. With all that has gone on this year, it would be an understatement to say I’ve needed “a little help from my friends”…
My friend, Tamara, has been crafting these adorable felted acorn ornaments for the past few years. They are just the sweetest little things- crafty and sophisticated all at once! Last year we were at a craft fair together and hung her acorn ornaments on a tree with my squirrel cookies and a sweet collaboration was born. We will be debuting our “Give Thanks” centerpiece tree at this weekend’s Renegade Craft Fair and we will be selling her acorns on our site. I am super excited about it! What I also love is that the idea of this tree can easily stretch into the Christmas Holidays… (more about this coming soon!)
I introduced my “Just Add Milk”line of cookies last year. Its basically a curated collection of my favorite “basic cookie” recipes (but they are so much more than basic!). I’ve been selling them at Craft Fairs and Farmers Markets as a quick bite offering… Many times people want to try a cookie right on the spot, and these cookies are a great alternative to biting into our more detailed decorative cookies that are most often purchased as gifts. I was super excited when my friend, Amanda, agreed to add her 2 most delicious creations to “Just Add Milk”. Her chocolate chip cookies really are the “best ever”!

What is so delicious about these chocolate chips is the gooey center- stop by our table and see for yourself!
We will be kicking off Craft Fair Season at the Renegade Craft Fair this weekend in Brooklyn! Renegade is one of the most popular craft events in the U.S. and I was honored to be selected as a vendor for this first time ever Holiday Fair. Just in time for Thanksgiving… stop by our table for yummy sweets for your Thanksgiving dessert table, adorable hostess gifts, fun and edible place cards, or just a quick SWEET bite! We hope to see you there! Xo Dani
PS. Looking ahead… we are super excited about the December 1st, Lake Katonah Holiday Fair and Bake Sale as well as our upcoming event with Urban Girls Squad on December 5th in NYC!

Those Italian Love Knots look delicious. Do they have anise flavoring in them? My mother makes them and calls them cookies. What an Italian classic!

They don’t have anise (I know the ones you mean- those are good too)… they are a bit lemony but really just airy and sweet with the glaze. They were huge hit and surprised us by selling out before the “best chocolate chips ever”! Xo
